With over 25 years of experience, more than 25 Gold and 10 Platinum certified singles and albums and four AMADEUS Awards to his name, Mischa Janisch has proven himself as one of the most renowned mixing and mastering engineers in the game. Whether working on current pop acts, immersive mixing for Dolby Atmos, mixing in stereo or re-mastering iconic vinyl and digital reissues, he is a trusted pair of hands who is right at the forefront of the latest industry developments with one of the first Dolby Atmos-certified studios in his native Austria. It is there that his immersive mixing makes for an all-new way of experiencing music, no matter the genre. 

From internationally celebrated acts like Klangkarussell and Kruder & Dormeister’s cutting-edge electronic music to Falco’s classic new wave reissues via mainstream pop, alternative rock and hip-hop, Mischa Janisch is the man to mix it all. Janisch works in the Sunshine Music studio he co-runs with Georg Tomandl and these days his focus is on the growing Dolby Atmos Music market. It is still new and emerging, but he is already hugely experienced at mixing music for this cutting-edge surround sound technology and has invested in outfitting his studio room with an Atmos Setup, making it one of the first in the country and placing him right at the forefront of the industry. He has since mixed whole albums in Dolby Atmos for Felix Jaehn and countless singles for the likes of Robin Schulz, Ray Dalton, Zoe Wees, VisionV, 2Scratch and many more.

In the background, Mischa also teaches a music production class at the University of Music and Performing Arts, Vienna for the Tonmeister program since 2008 and has been Deputy Head of Department at the Institute for Composition, Electroacoustics and Tonmeister Education. Renowned in the industry for never missing a deadline and not stopping work until a client gets exactly what they want, Mischa Janisch is responsible for shaping the sound of so many artists old and new.
